Common questions about uploads and generation in dancingai
dancingai turns a photo or character asset into a dance video and also supports motion reference uploads to guide the final movement and rhythm.
Yes. A single-person motion video is recommended. If the video contains two or more people, the system will use the motion of the person who occupies the largest area in the frame.
The person should show a clear upper body or full body, with the head and all limbs visible as much as possible and without major occlusion, so the model can extract motion more reliably.
Real human motion works best. Use a single continuous shot, keep the subject in frame throughout the clip, avoid cuts or aggressive camera movement, and prefer relatively steady motion over very fast actions.
Sometimes. Real human motion is the most reliable, but some stylized characters or humanoid figures can still work when their body proportions are reasonably close to a real person.
Motion videos support .mp4 and .mov, must be 100MB or smaller, and both dimensions must fall between 340px and 3850px. The video must be at least 3 seconds long. If validation fails, the system returns an error code or prompt.
If the motion is complex or too fast, the model may only extract the effective continuous motion it can use, so the result can be shorter than the original upload. Generation can proceed as long as at least 3 seconds of usable continuous motion is available. Credits used in this case are not refundable, so it is better to simplify or slow down the motion before trying again.
